LARS Promotions are a promotions company based in the south of England. We are dedicated to bringing you the best of the up-and-coming bands from around the UK. For too long nights out have been dominated with covers bands playing the same songs with no alternative available.
We believe it is time for the next generation of musical acts to be put center stage and given the chance to rock your night out. Our aim is to educate as well as entertain, and prove that live, original music can give you just as good a night out as any covers band, if not better.
Our History
LARS Promotions was initially set up as the Littlehampton Alternative Rock Society in 2015. It was formed by six individuals who were unhappy with the state of live music in Littlehampton, mainly; there simply wasn't enough. Yes there were some pubs and clubs offering music events, but there was nothing to look forward too, no regular event, and nothing in the way of a dedicated rock and metal night, it was time for change.
We decided that a dedicated night would give the alternative scene and of course, anyone else who wanted to join us, a specialized night catering to them. Not only did we want to run these nights to make sure they were a success, but we wanted to do more. Our aim was to bring you the best of the up-and-coming alternative musicians from the surrounding areas,

introducing them to Littlehampton, and hopefully gaining them a whole host of new fans in the process. We have never been just about the music, we care about the music, the people, the scene, and we want to keep you entertained.
We were honored to host local band Tellurium's debut album release party as our initial event in September 2016. With this event, we wanted to give everyone the chance to meet us and introduce who we are, and what we are about. We had three amazing bands with Tellurium being supported by two other local bands; Harsh Times, and Small Town Silence. Sadly all three have since disbanded, but a large proportion of those involved have since moved onto other awesome projects. The evening was a tremendous hit and in January 2017 we began hosting regular events at The Crown.
In June 2017 we decided that we wanted to do more for the music scene, not just in Littlehampton, but the surrounding area as well. In July 2017 we were incorporated and formed LARS Promotions Limited. This has enabled us to grow, and take on further challenges, including a number of successful charity events, including our own Heretic Ball.

In 2020 the pandemic hit, and this had a massive impact on not just us, but the live music scene in general. Due to this, we were unable to carry on with our regular event nights at The Crown, and our event in the December before became our last there. We then set about looking for a new place to entertain, and when the pandemic began to subside found temporary solace with BAR 42 in Worthing. We were lucky enough to be able to hold two events here before the lease was sold.

In December 2021 we tested the water in The Charles Dickens with a special showcase, which is now followed by the launch of Debauchery; our newest event night. 2022 is the return of Live Original Music, and we cant wait to see where the resto fo the year will take us.
